Chuck Pollock
Born and raised in Providence, his family moved to North Providence when he was 17 years old. After High School, Chuck enlisted in the US Army where he proudly served for 4 years. During his enlistment he was stationed in South Korea with the 2ND Infantry Division on the DMZ. Chuck was Honorably discharged after completing his enlistment.
He holds an Associate Degree from the Community College of Rhode Island in Fire Science.
Besides serving on the RIMO board the last 7 years, Chuck volunteers with and sponsors fundraising to benefit the RI Fire Chiefs Honor Flight. He has been a guardian and Medic on five flights with WWII, Korean War and Vietnam Veterans to the visit veteran memorials in DC
Chuck retired from the Cranston Fire Department as a Rescue Captain with over 30 years of service. He was also elected to the North Providence School Committee in 2018 for a 4 year term and will be beginning his next 4 year term.
