Chuck Pollock

Born and raised in Providence, his family moved to North Providence when he was 17 years old.  After High School, Chuck enlisted in the US Army where he proudly served for 4 years.  During his enlistment he was stationed in South Korea with the 2ND Infantry Division, with locations on the DMZ.  Chuck was Honorably discharged after completing his enlistment. 

He holds an Associate Degree from the Community College of Rhode Island in Fire Science. He is a member of the American Legion Post 29 and the VFW Lymansville Post 10011, both located in North Providence.

Besides serving on the RIMO board the last 8 years, Chuck volunteers with and sponsors fundraising efforts to benefit the RI Fire Chiefs Honor Flight. He has been both a guardian and Medical staff on six flights to bring our WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam Veterans to the visit the Memorials in their honor located in Washington D.C.

Chuck is a retired Captain from the Cranston Fire Department having served with over 30 years of service.  He also served on the North Providence School Committee for 6 years, and currently serves on the North Providence Town Council.
